Practice for the exam you're actually taking.

SAT, ACT, and AP exams ask different things of you. The practice here follows those differences, from the SAT's adaptive second module to the ACT's timed fixed-form sections and the source-based reasoning used across AP subjects.

Practice is free. Choose your exam, work through a set, and review your results. The books take the same exam-specific approach further, with instruction, worked examples, strategy, and substantially more practice.

No account required. Your practice and results remain in your browser for the session.

Each exam below has its own practice structure. SAT and ACT offer larger question banks for repeated practice. AP subjects use shorter sets built around the reading, evidence, analysis, and subject knowledge required by each course.

SAT

Adaptive practice for both SAT Math modules

Digital SAT Math

Work through the two-module structure used on the Digital SAT. Your performance in Module 1 determines the difficulty of Module 2. Questions cover Algebra, Advanced Math, Problem-Solving and Data Analysis, and Geometry and Trigonometry, with a built-in Desmos calculator available throughout.

ACT

Fixed-form practice with ACT pacing

ACT Math

ACT English and Reading

AP subjects

AP practice here is intentionally compact: 14-question sets that can be completed in one sitting. The format changes with the subject. History questions are built around sources and historical reasoning. Government and Politics questions are built around required documents and required Supreme Court cases. English questions emphasize close reading, rhetoric, evidence, and interpretation. Each set can be taken in Study mode for learning or Exam mode for timed practice.

AP U.S. History

Primary and secondary sources, maps, political material, and historical evidence across the AP U.S. History periods. Questions emphasize contextualization, comparison, causation, and evidence-based reasoning.

AP U.S. Government and Politics

Practice draws on the required foundational documents and required Supreme Court cases for AP U.S. Government and Politics, from Madison's account of federalism in Federalist No. 39 to landmark rulings on due process and civil liberties. Questions test constitutional reasoning applied to a scenario: how federalism, the separation of powers, and the protections in the Bill of Rights actually function, not just what they say.
